iDokuta Care Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

The English version is authoritative; other-language versions are provided for convenience only.

Scope (v1): These Terms describe the current free version of iDokuta Care — a set of language tools. The current version has no doctor consultations, no in-app payments or subscriptions, no prescriptions, and no medication delivery.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using iDokuta Care (the "App"), you ("User") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. About iDokuta Care

iDokuta Care is a set of language tools that help foreigners in or visiting Japan communicate about health in Japanese. In this version, the App helps you do that by translating and structuring what you want to say, so you can show it to a doctor, pharmacist, or clinic staff yourself.

Medical disclaimer (per 医師法 17条): The information and translations provided by iDokuta Care are not a medical diagnosis and not medical advice. Consult a licensed professional for any medical decision. This App is not a substitute for emergency medical services — for emergencies in Japan, dial 119 (ambulance) yourself.

The current version provides:

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering binding contracts under your jurisdiction.

4. Account

You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your sign-in credentials confidential, notify us of unauthorized access, and use the App only for lawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms.

5. Nature of the service

The App does NOT:

6. Fees

The language tools in this version are free. The App includes an in-app counter called "leaves," which is a free in-app counter only. This version has no real-money purchases, subscriptions, or in-app payments.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, misrepresent your identity, interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure, or reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.

8. No warranty; "as is"

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its language tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Machine translation can contain errors; we do not guarantee word-for-word accuracy. Always confirm important details (such as dosages or instructions) with a licensed professional.
